Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Paisa Pro. By accessing and using our application, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application Paisa Pro and any related websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by R2S Labs ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

1.2 By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Service in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which together form a binding agreement between you and the Company. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1.3 You represent that you are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law.

2. Nature of the Service

2.1 Paisa Pro is a personal finance management and budgeting tool that helps you view, categorize, and track your income and expenses based primarily on transaction information you provide, including bank/financial statements and manually entered data.

2.2 The Service does not provide regulated financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and does not itself offer loans, deposits, insurance, securities, or other regulated financial products. Any insights, analytics, or summaries are for informational and self-management purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice.

2.3 The Service does not connect directly to your bank via credentials or APIs. It only uses the transaction data that you upload or enter (for example, statements or transaction lists) to provide budgeting and tracking features.

3. Eligibility and Account

3.1 To use certain features, you may need to create an account by providing details such as your name, email address, and a password or other credentials as specified in the app.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access or use of your account.

3.3 We may refuse to create an account, suspend, or terminate any account that we reasonably believe is being used in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 What You Agree To

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Service.
  • Use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial use and only for lawful purposes.
  • Ensure that any bank or financial statements or other data you upload or enter are obtained and used in compliance with your agreements with your bank/financial institution and with applicable law.

4.2 What You Must Not Do

You must not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service, including by introducing viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Data and Content You Provide

5.1 You retain ownership of the data and content you provide to the Service (including uploaded statements and manually entered transactions). You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and analyze such data solely for:

  • Providing and improving the Service to you.
  • Generating your reports, budgets, summaries, and similar outputs.
  • Internal analytics in aggregated or anonymized form.

5.2 You confirm that you have the right to upload or input such data and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

5.3 We may create aggregated and/or anonymized data derived from your use of the Service, which does not identify you personally. We may use such data for analytics, improving the Service, and other legitimate business purposes.

6. Fees and Changes to the Service

6.1 At the MVP stage, Paisa Pro may be offered free of charge or with limited free features. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or one-time fees for certain features in the future.

6.2 If we introduce paid features, we will inform you of applicable pricing, payment terms, and any changes to these Terms in advance, in accordance with applicable law. Your continued use of paid features after such notice will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

6.3 We may add, modify, or remove features, impose limits on certain features, or restrict access to parts or all of the Service at any time for operational or business reasons.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, tools, or services. Any use of such third-party services is subject to their separate terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7.2 We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party information, products, or services, even if they are linked from or mentioned within the Service.

8. No Warranty

8.1 The Service and all content, features, and outputs (including any budgeting, categorization, summaries, or analytics) are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8.2 Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The outputs, reports, or insights will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected.

8.3 You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any data or outputs and for making your own financial decisions. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial, investment, or tax decisions.

8.4 We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of the Service resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, internet or telecommunication failures, or third-party server outages (e.g., cloud hosting failures).

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

9.2 To the extent any liability is established in connection with the Service, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you to us for use of the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. If you have not paid any amounts (e.g., using a free version), our total liability shall not exceed INR 100.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Any violation of applicable law or third-party rights by you.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 The Service, including all software, design, trademarks, logos, and content (excluding your data) are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

11.2 You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time, using the in-app options or by contacting us at the email provided in the Privacy Policy.

12.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or engaged in unlawful activity.

12.3 Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease. You may revoke consent for data access at any time. Upon account deletion or consent revocation, we will securely delete your financial data and transaction records in accordance with applicable laws, except where retention is legally required.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction where local laws mandate applying local consumer protection rules, those mandatory laws will apply to the extent required.

13.2 Subject to applicable law, you agree that the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.

13.3 Before resorting to court, both parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably through good faith discussions.

14. Changes to These Terms

14.1 We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where required by law, provide additional notice (for example, in-app notification or email).

14.2 Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.


15. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules made thereunder, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are provided below. Any complaints regarding the Service or data processing should be directed to:
